Intermedix Announces Title Sponsorship for IRONMAN 70.3 Augusta, 9/29

Intermedix Corporation today announced its title sponsorship of the IRONMAN 70.3 Augusta triathlon taking place on Sept. 29.

Intermedix delivers technology-enabled professional services to healthcare providers, government agencies and corporations with nearly 30 offices across the nation, including one in Augusta, Ga. The Intermedix Augusta office is a hub for crisis management technologies, including the internationally used and recognized software, WebEOC. The company has worked with IRONMAN for many years and continues to show its support not only to the organization but also to the city of Augusta.

Intermedix IRONMAN 70.3 Augusta became an instant success when the race joined the IRONMAN 70.3 series in 2009 and over the years, it has developed into another source of pride for Augusta. Every year, the triathlon enjoys continued growth and support from the community.

Intermedix IRONMAN 70.3 Augusta offers participants the unique opportunity to race in two states, as a portion of the event takes athletes into South Carolina. To begin, athletes will swim a 1.2-mile point-to-point course in the Savannah River. Participants will then embark on a single-loop 56-mile bike course through the beautiful countryside of Georgia and South Carolina. Athletes will end the day with a two-loop course consisting of 13.1-miles, through the downtown community of Augusta, finishing on Broad Street, adjacent to Augusta Commons. Intermedix IRONMAN 70.3 Augusta offers a $15,000 professional prize purse and 40 slots to the 2014 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Mont-Tremblant, Quebec.
