RedEnvelope Announces a New Leadership Team
RedEnvelope announced new management to lead the sophisticated online gifting site. The new executive leadership team includes Chief Consumer Experience Officer Greg Chapman, along with Vice President, General Manager Ken Mowry and Chief Marketing Officer Terri Funk Graham. The three together will reshape, enliven and expand the RedEnvelope brand.
Chapman, a 30-year merchandising, marketing and business operations veteran, is leading the brand overhaul efforts. Extensive customer research led by Chapman will form the strategic direction of marketing, merchandising and branding, making RedEnvelope unlike any other gifting destination in the U.S.
"Making gift givers heroes in the eyes of their recipients is the essence of the new RedEnvelope brand strategy," Chapman said. "We want RedEnvelope to be the first place that our customers go to get inspiration for that special gift that will make them stand out."
Mowry, a senior e-commerce executive with extensive digital marketing and user interface experience, will reform and manage all aspects of operations. Under Mowry's leadership, RedEnvelope's merchandising team will triple the product line of gift options for holidays and beyond. Mowry will oversee new site initiatives, including the introduction of a new browsing/shopping experience.
Graham, RedEnvelope's new CMO, is a pioneer in the field with her most recent role as a 10-year CMO at the $3 billion Jack In The Box brand. Graham drove the marketing and kept the 62-year-old brand relevant and in the process reinvented "Jack" multiple times. At RedEnvelope, Graham will lead the brand's evolution and iconic red gift box into an aspirational emblem and bring innovation to the changing brand. She will head up all aspects of marketing, including creative direction, branding, and social engagement as part of the expansion strategy.
