DSTLDPremium Denim celebrated the debut of its women's collection and denim barwith an industry-only launch party, held at its new multipurpose space, DNM BAR: LA. The space was expertly designed to reflect the spirit of the brand - derived from the word 'distill': to purify and refine until only the essential remains. The night brought together LA's most respected fashion media, celebs, stylists and stylish clientele, including fashion photographer Steve Shaw, actors Charlie Carver, Audrey Whitby, and Meagan Tandy, Tinder co-founders Sean Rad and Justin Mateen, professional ping pong player Soo Yeon Lee, and TV personalities Reza Farahan and Quad Webb-Lunceford. Guests arrived in true Hollywood style on the black carpet, stopping at the step-and-repeat before entering into the studio filled with audacious displays of denim. The evening's biggest draw was DSTLD's denim bar where guests previewed DSTLD's core collection and picked up a signature pair of jeans for themselves to bring home. Also on display was the soon-to-launch Made in LA capsule featuring the Forever Black Second Skinny, Forever White jean, and trio of summer Tencel jeans in light, medium, and dark gray washes. DSTLD's new creative space, DNM BAR: LA will serve interchangeably as a creative workspace, photo studio, pop-up shop, and entertainment venue. The raw, industrial-chic atmosphere of DNM BAR: LA transported attendees from the familiar West Hollywood landscape to a truly DSTLD domain. Staying true to the brand's ethos, bold denim accents and artwork, like a one-of-a-kind denim sculpture by Samantha Greenfeld and custom neon lights filled the otherwise unembellished space. The studio is truly dedicated to the simplicity of the perfect pair of denim. Guests mingled over signature cocktails from Ciroc and wine from Club W's new proprietary labels. Live entertainment included an AcroYoga performance and house music from DJ Rob Steele.
