Carolyn Pollack Jewelry Featured on Today Show as Gift for Families of Deployed Troops
A necklace designed and manufactured by Carolyn Pollack Jewelry will be featured on NBC's Today show tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 7, as a Mother's Day jewelry gift chosen by Full Circle Home (FCH), a nonprofit organization that sends gift baskets to the wives and mothers of deployed troops.
The necklace, made of sterling silver and called the Mother's Infinite Love Spiral Heart Pendant, will be worn on the Today show by FCH founder Vickie Durfee and Director Lisa Miller. Durfee founded FCH in 2007 to support the special women of armed service members during their separation from loved ones deployed overseas. Through donations and corporate partnerships, FCH arranges for gift boxes to be sent on behalf of service members to the home front.
Filled with a variety of pampering products and a handwritten note from their deployed loved one, the gift boxes help to comfort and support military wives and mothers during heart-wrenching separations. FCH has sent thousands of gift boxes to women across the U.S., and to bases in Iraq and Afghanistan.
"We're so pleased to have the Carolyn Pollack necklace in our special Mother's Day boxes," said Durfee. "The lovely sterling silver heart pendant is symbolic of the strength and beauty of the women who stand behind our troops."
One of the reasons Full Circle Home chose the Carolyn Pollack silver necklace for its Mother's Day gift boxes is that the jewelry is Made in the USA, something that's very important to Durfee and the volunteers behind the unique program to support military families.
"It is an Honor to have our pendant included in the gift boxes sent to the women who sacrifice time with their loved ones while away serving our country," said Bill Pollack, president of Relios, Inc., the company behind Carolyn Pollack Jewelry. "Our jewelry is American made because we believe in America, and we especially support the sacrifices made by troops and their families."
