Wriggle Dance Theatre Presents National Tour of ONCE IN A BLUE MOON, 9/13-1/25

After a hugely successful Midlands tour, Wriggle Dance Theatre will be touring nationally with 'Once in a Blue Moon' an interactive dance theatre piece for children aged 3 - 6 years and their grown - ups.
'Once in a Blue Moon' is based on a story about the moon's birthday party. The audience get to make a personal birthday card for the moon in pre show activities before joining the performers as they search for the moons whereabouts. They journey through strange lands and meet some curious characters along the way in this truly magical experience. The show incorporates dance and live music with interactivity woven throughout the performance, moving the audience seamlessly from moments of viewing to moments of participation.
Wriggle Dance Theatre is based in Northamptonshire and is supported by Arts Council England. Wriggle specialise in dance performance for young children and families. Wriggle creates unique interactive shows, which offer audiences structured interactive moments as well as opportunities for free play, combining dance, theatre, live music and comedy. At the heart of Wriggle's vision is a passion for children and an understanding of their potential as dance critics, creators, and performers.
'Once in a Blue Moon' is produced in association with The Core at Corby Cube will be touring from September 2014, opening at The Core at Corby Cube on Sat 13th September 2014.
