The Ohio State University Department of Dance presents Shifting Focus, a winter dance concert featuring works by undergraduate and graduate student choreographers at 8 pm tonight, January 24-Saturday, January 26. Performances will be in room 316 Pomerene Hall, 1760 Neil Ave. at the corner of West 12th and Neil Avenues.

The show features a series of short contemporary dance works created by BFA and MFA students. The 12 original works stem from many sources of inspiration, from the purely conceptual to the heart-wrenchingly personal. Students also had to explore creating dance for a unique space that shows the choreography from all directions.

Tickets are $5 general admission. Advance tickets are available at the OSU Theatre Box Office or (614) 292-2295. Tickets may also be purchased at the door, subject to availability. Convenient parking is available in the Neil Avenue Parking Garage. For more, go to dance.osu.edu.
