This September 23rd, Tony nominated, Emmy, Helen Hays and Outer Critics Award-Winning tap dancer and choreographer Ted Louis Levy ("Black and Blue," "Jelly's Last Jam," "Bring in 'da Noise, Bring in 'da Funk") will present "Swing the Vote," a 90-minute tap dance production at the Roulette Theater in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn at 8:00pm.

The evening will also serve as a voter turnout rally and fundraiser, and aims to spark excitement and participation in the upcoming presidential election. A ticket to the show will grant guests an all-inclusive evening of patriotic activities such as voter registration, volunteer phone banks, and overall education that will aid undecided voters. A VIP reception will precede the show.

Ted Louis Levy, a critically acclaimed choreographer/performer, is the show's Executive Producer and Creative Director, with Producers Rose Sias. The event will be "an historic, momentous, and fun evening of entertainment by contemporary performers from the disciplines of dance, music, stage, television and film as well as prominent political and community guest speakers" Levy explained.

Current artists supporting this event include Chloe and Maud Arnold, whose viral tap videos have received wide acclaim and attention from Beyonce; legendary original female hoofer Mable Lee, George Faison ("The Wiz"), Claudia Rahardjanoto (Dorrance Dance), Alonzo Saunders ("Chicago," "The Rat Pack Live") , Natalie Toro ("Les Miserables," "A Tale of Two Cities"), Daniel Watts ("Hamilton," "After Midnight") , Raun Ruffin ( "The Civil War" "Sophisticated Ladies") and Amber Nicole ( "The Voice")

Ted Louis Levy has been an artistic associate of every successful, African American, Broadway Tap Dance Show in the past 25 Years. His goal for "Swing the Vote" is to encourage multicultural and artistic participation, as his 90-minute production will highlight the importance of national pride. He states, "Voting is the way of participating in maintaining the best quality of your life, so you can swing the way you want to swing. That is what we call freedom. Encouragement for the importance of our responsibility, right and privilege to vote. Privilege that others have lost their lives for. We can protect the responsibility they passed on, pick up the baton, and swing it forward."

Roulette Theater is located at 509 Atlantic Ave., Brooklyn, NY 11217. The show runs September 23,2016 at 8:00pm. For more information, visit roulette.org/event/swing-the-vote-for-hillary. Additional information, including tickets can be found at www.swingforwardproductions.com.
