Shen Wei is inspired by his two passions, Dance and painting and seamlessly incorporates both into his otherworldly visions that he creates on stage, and that of course, depends on the size of the stage.

Many have seen Shen Wei's work during the 2008 Beijing Olympics where he choreographed and artistically directed the mind bending opening ceremonies, which almost upstaged the Olympics itself.
