STAGE TUBE: Bill Maher Uses MY FAIR LADY to Show the Evolution of Gender Stereotypes Since 1950s

This week on REAL TIME WITH BILL MAHER, the host used footage from the 1964 film adaptation of MY FAIR LADY to highlight the evolution of gender stereotypes since the 1950s. The clip he used features Rex Harrison (Henry Higgins) singing the line:

"Women are irrational, that's all there is to that!
Their heads are full of cotton, hay, and rags!
They're nothing but exasperating, irritating,
vacillating, calculating, agitating,
Maddening and infuriating hags!"

Maher also used the segment to condemn Donald Trump's misogynistic attitude towards women, calling him a "whiny little bitch." Check out the full clip below!

The show has already been renewed for a 15th season of 35 editions, scheduled for 2017.

Politico has hailed Maher as "a pugnacious debater and a healthy corrective to the claptrap of cable news," while Variety noted, "There may not be a more eclectic guest list on all of television."
