In their sixth season of free monthly dance performances in San Francisco City Hall's extraordinary rotunda, Dancers' Group and World Arts West continue their partnership to bring audiences lunchtime glimpses into movement and musical traditions from around the world.

This October, after a fifteen-city tour, AXIS Dance Company returns home to share with Bay Area audiences a sampling of its current works. Over the past year, AXIS has connected with veteran populations across the United States with to go again, a dance theater work by Joe Goode inspired by veterans' stories of resilience. Additional works in the program include excerpts from Alex Ketley, Maurya Kerr and Bobbi Jene Smith's In Defense of Regret, Sonya Delwaide's Dix minutes plus tard and Marc Brew's Divide.

The Rotunda Dance Series will continue monthly in 2016 with performances by the Mussel Rock Cloggers (November 4) and Bolivia Corazón de América (December 9).

The Series brings many of the Bay Area's most celebrated dance companies to San Francisco City Hall's rotunda space for free monthly noon-time performances. The Rotunda Dance series is presented by Dancers' Group and World Arts West in partnership with Grants for the Arts and San Francisco City Hall.
