Calling all ballet dancers ages 5 -18. WHBPAC's Arts Education Program's popular Spring Ballet Residency with Peconic Ballet Theatre (formerly Dancecore) is back with Coppélia, one of the best-known and most performed comedy ballets about a doll who magically comes to life!

Running from February 3 - April 26, this residency not only provides high quality dance instruction, but also gives young people the thrill of performing alongside ballet professionals on the WHBPAC stage! Placement auditions for students 8 and up will be held on February 1. Students must be registered to schedule an audition. The fee for the residency is $350.

For twelve weeks, students will be placed in groups according to age and will rehearse and receive ballet instruction working towards two public performances of Coppélia on Saturday, April 25 at 7pm and Sunday, April 26 at 3pm. Students will be outfitted with divine tailor-made costumes as the dance against a vibrant custom-made backdrop.

What's more, while young dancers are rehearsing, parents can relax in our newly refurbished WHBPAC Parent Lounge where they can enjoy refreshments, coffee and complementary wi-fi access. Parents will also have the opportunity to visit with our gifted WHBPAC Arts Ed Staff to discuss their child's development within the program!
