Performing Dance Arts (http://www.PerformingDanceArts.ca), Toronto's leading dance studio for children of all skill levels, is pleased to announce two Acro Summer Intensive Programs with Andrea Mulder, taking place July 28-31 and August 25-28.

Performing Dance Arts is excited to announce that it's running two Acro Summer Intensive Programs this summer. Led by Mulder and the Performing Dance Arts staff, the classes run from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., but early 9:00 a.m. drop-off and late 4:00 p.m. pickup are available by request.

"While acro is designed for dancers and stage performers who want to learn acrobatic skills, the Acro Summer Intensive Program can help dancers in all disciplines keep their body and mind in shape," says Ashley Daychak, artistic director at Performing Dance Arts. "Available for ages five and up, classes will be divided into two groups according to ability and are designed to help dancers improve their flexibility and strengthen their bodies."

Daychak explains that the Acro Summer Intensive Program at Performing Dance Arts is a gym-based strengthening and stretching program where dancers can learn new tricks and improve old ones. Keep in mind that this camp is not just for acrobats; all dancers should come out to improve their flexibility and coordination and strengthen their bodies.

Mulder is trained in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and acrobatics. She is an associate and full member of the British Association of Teachers of Dancing, has trained extensively in Royal Academy of Dance style, and has completed her coaching certification in gymnastics. She also graduated from York University with honours for her double majors in dance and kinesiology. Over the last 10 years, Mulder has won many awards for her choreography and training across Canada and the United States.
