Last night, the New York City Ballet honored Valentino at its annual Fall gala. As part of the celebration, the designer created costumes for three ballets including a long Valentino red chiffon gown for Not My Girl, to the Bal de Couture featuring black, white and red tutus, as well as stunning black and white dresses with hot pink and red skirts underneath.  He also designed all the tuxedos for the men in the performance.

Valentino's biggest supporters were there as well for the celebration—Sarah Jessica Parker, Anne Hathaway, Karolina Kurkova and Valentino's successors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli.
