The Moscow Festival Ballet will perform Swan Lake at Kean University's Wilkins Theatre on Saturday, March 15 at 7:30 p.m. Set to the music of Tchaikovsky, Swan Lake is a romantic tale of true love and forgiveness taken from Russian folklore and German legend. This enchanting story follows a heroic young prince as he labors to free the beautiful swan maiden from an evil sorcerer's spell. Filled with colorful costumes and backed by a sweeping score, Swan Lake is considered one of the greatest classical ballets of all time.

Founded by Sergei Radchenko, legendary principal dancer of the Bolshoi Ballet, the Moscow Festival Ballet melds the highest classical elements of the great Bolshoi and Kirov Ballet companies in an independent new company featuring principal dancers from across Russia.
