Jo-Mé Dance Theatre brings you "Here and Now," a program of the Companies modern-contemporary repertory works alongside new choreography from Joe Gonzalez and Diaman Wood. The company will perform at Boston University Dance Theater (915 Commonwealth Ave, Boston MA 02215) on June 6th at 8:00pm.

The six pieces of the evening explore concepts including vulnerability in relationships, alienation in the digital age, and understanding physical and mental disorders. Collectively, the program examines the idea of being present: in our daily experiences and in building relationships, with others in our spaces and even within our own bodies. The choreography is supported by the lighting design of Stephen Petrilli andmusical selections ranging from the resonant instrumentals of Philip Glass, Max Richter, and Craig Armstrong to the pulsing electronics of Zack Hemsey.
