The Swan Princess is set to the beautiful, enduring music of Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake, arranged by award-winning composer Jessica Rudman. HCD Dance Department senior dancers Victoria Siracusa and Anna Lise Wilkins will share the role of Princess Odette, University of Hartford graduate Andrew Matte will dance the evil Rothbart, and special guest artist Bridge Taylor will dance the role of Prince Derek. Rounding out this stellar cast of young dancers, recent Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) regional gold medal winner Ethan Clarisey will perform as the Court Jester.

Under the direction of conductor Kalena Bovell, Assistant Conductor of the Hartford Symphony Orchestra, and choreographed by HCD Dance Department Interim Chair and The Swan Princess Artistic Director Susannah Marchese, this all-new three-act ballet promises to deliver an evening of spectacular dancing and captivating storytelling for the whole family.
