(Harlem, 1937) Queenie has won her tenth Queenie Pie title, a national honor bestowed on the most talented and powerful beautician in the country. After the competition, Queenie wants a big congratulatory party so, as usual, she throws one for herself. Queenie's yearly after-party is the popular destination for competitors and their retinues, and her door is open to receive admirers-even a ruthless competitor who's determined to win back Queenie's crown.

Tickets for original Chicago Opera Theater performances will be honored at the rescheduled dates. Additional information for Chicago Opera Theater's Queenie Pie, including exchanging seats to a different date, can be found at chicagooperatheater.org/box-office.
