Dance Pizazz recognizes the importance of having goals, and wants to share tips for how to succeed in and out of the world of dance. Goals are the driving force behind success. Goals give short and long term vision, and allow Professionals to focus the acquisition of their knowledge. Goals also help to organize time and resources to make the most out of any task.

Top Level business executives, athletes and successful people all have goal setting in common. Goals allow them to measure and take pride in their achievements. It increases their confidence, and shows them forward progress. Top level Dance teachers live their lives around goals. From self-improvement, to lesson plans, to competitions, dance instructors are always planning goals.

Some tips for getting started with goal setting are:

Adapt and adjust - Mini goals and bigger goals are always in a change of flux. If the mini goals become too easy, be willing to make them harder. If the bigger goals become too difficult be willing to make them easier. The main importance is achieving the goal, and if their too difficult or not worthwhile people quit.

Schedule unexpected time - In other words do not schedule things so close together that there is not time for errors to occur. People never expect things to go wrong, so if people plan in time for things to go wrong then they have successfully planned for the unplanned and still succeed.

Be content with and work past the boredom - There is not enough champagne in the world to celebrate each mini goal people achieve. The fact is that goals are mostly achieved through thousands of little repetitive tasks rather than one large intricate one. People who succeed at achieving goals are the ones who work harder and harder through the boredom to make themselves the best they can be.

At Dance Pizazz we are goal centric. We believe in customizing goals for each and every student based on what they want to learn, and how they learn. Students should always be moving forward and with full color, tangible programs teachers are always tracking progress. Lesson plans planned with students the previous lesson creates short term goals. Competitions, showcases, and performances give students long term goals to work towards. Like these top level performing individuals, students at Dance Pizazz will be driving onwards and upwards in any dance program there are enrolled in.
