Come kick off the 2013-2014 season with us at Dance on a Shoestring, an intimate evening of excerpts and works in progress at our home, The Dance Gallery!

The program will include a preview to Keith Michael's The Nutcracker, featuring Waltz of the Flowers and the Grand Pas de Deux.

Luno di Due (The One of Two), choreographed by Marco Pelle, was originally created in 2011 for Beatrice Carbone, ballerina with La Scala Theater in Milan, Italy.

Three Shades of Blue, a new work in progress with choreography by Dan Siretta and an original score by Lynn Crigler, is centered around popular American dances from the early 20th century.

There will be two solos performed by 13-year-old Victor Rosario, and 9-year-old Lily Rudd. Both of these dances were choreographed by the students at BSNY's annual summer program.

The Byer Fellowship will be announced at Fridayevening's performance. This performance will also have a special guest performance by David Vaughan!
