As reported last month, Tony Award-winning actor and current host of THE LATE LATE SHOW, James Corden will emcee the 70th Annual Tony Awards. In a statement, the newly-minted host shared, "I'm absolutely thrilled to be hosting the Tony Awards. Both times I've worked on Broadway have been amongst the happiest times of my professional life. I consider it to be a huge honor to be asked to host such an incredible night. It's going to be fun; I can't wait to dust off my tap shoes!"

Though we're still a few months away, we couldn't help but ponder which of Corden's regular comedy bits from his late night talk show he may want to bring with him to Broadway's biggest night. Check out some ideas from our personal wish list!

CROSSWALK: THE MUSICAL

In this hilarious feature, James and his theater company head to the intersection of LA's Beverly Blvd. and Genesee Ave. to perform classic musicals such as GREASE and PHANTOM OF THE OPERA. Perhaps the comedian can bring his troupe to the Big Apple and perform a show live from the heart of Times Square!

CARPOOL KARAOKE

In this regular comedy bit, James picks up everyone from Adele to Justin Bieber to Sir Elton John for a drive around the neighborhood, while rockin' out to some of the artists' classic tunes. While in town for the Tony's, we'd love to see Corden offer a ride to musical genius Lin-Manuel Miranda. Hey, we already know the late night talk show host can rap!

CAMEO APPEARANCE IN A MUSICAL

In a hilarious bit last fall, James threw himself into the role of Fop 2 in the National Tour of PHANTOM OF THE OPERA and put on a performance to remember. We'd love to see him make a cameo appearance as a Mormon missionary in Uganda or perhaps a member of Prince Ali's posse from Agrabah.
