Ballet in Cleveland to Host Dinner with BREAKING POINTE's Allison DeBona, 3/1

Ballet in Cleveland presents an intimate gourmet dinner with ballerina Allison DeBona of Ballet West and the CW's hit series Breaking Pointe.

Spend a delightful evening mingling with ballerina Allison DeBona as well as the staff of Ballet in Cleveland. Allison will be available for autographs as well as photo opportunities.

During the course of the evening, Allison DeBona will be speaking about the upcoming second season of the CW's hit reality series Breaking Pointe. Also slated to talk will be Jessica Wallis (Founding Director of Ballet in Cleveland) and Jim Sebastian (Business Manager for Ballet in Cleveland) speaking on upcoming events planned for this organization's inaugural season, including exciting details about a special event with dancers from the New York City Ballet.

A choice of menu items will be available including: Appetizers of Salmon Toasts, Beef Ceviche, goat cheese and pistachio encrusted grapes (served with a glass of sparkling wine);

First Course choices are Radicchio Salad (blue cheese, tomato, marconna almonds and tarragon vinaigrette) or Mushroom Bisque; Main Course choices include Tofu au Poivre (broccoli rabe, garlic, pepperoncini and red pepper coulis), Seared Salmon (miso sauce, rice and steamed spinach) or Truffled Chicken Breast (creamed cabbage and thyme dumplings) with a dessert course assortment of truffle family style per table to round off the evening.

Price for the entire March 1st evening is $100 per person and reservations can be made by either going to info@balletincleveland.org or by calling 330-285-5779. Space is limited so it is highly suggested you make your reservations early. The evening will take place at the Cowell & Hubbard Restaurant, 1305 Euclid Avenue Cleveland, Ohio. Cocktails at 7:30 p.m. Dinner at 8:00 p.m.

All proceeds will go to Ballet in Cleveland to aid in their mission of bringing professional classical ballet performances to Cleveland.

On March 2, 2013, DeBona will grace the floors of the Gund Dance Studio inside PlayhouseSquare's Idea Center for two master ballet classes. Registration has now opened on at www.balletincleveland.org.

Allison will be teaching a class for 8-12 year-old dancers and 13-18 year-old dancers. Allison will host a Q&A session after each class. Registration includes a Ballet in Cleveland dance bag, water bottle, nutrition bars from Real Food Barre, an autographed headshot of Allison, and a photo of Allison and the dancers in the class, and other surprises.

Ballet in Cleveland's mission is to revitalize the presence of classical ballet in Cleveland, Ohio by presenting performances by the highest quality professional ballet companies as well as promoting the art through ballet-centered programming and events that not only foster interest but also educate and entertain the community. Ballet in Cleveland will highlight the importance, relevance, and entertaining artistry of professional classical ballet in the region.
