*This article contains major spoilers for the fall finale episode.*

And... we're off! Live, that is. The episode opens tonight with Abbie and Crane exactly where we left off last week, hearing the sounding off of the end of days. They get in the car and ride to Moloch/Katrina/Henry/The Horseman. On the way, their car gives out - so they steal a motorcycle and continue on their journey. When they arrive - Henry Parish's hideout appears abandoned. All of a sudden, they hear Katrina scream - and they run in her direction. They find the horseman performing the binding ritual we witnessed stopped earlier this season, once more. Using the magical sword acquired last week, they try to defeat the horseman.

Crane decides to interrogate the horseman - who tells them using the sword to kill will kill the user. To bide some time, they chain him up in their makeshift dungeon under the archives. Jenny arrives with the research Katrina needs to either prove is disprove the horseman's claims. It turns out he was correct - and they cannot use the sword without dying.

Jenny proposes Irving use the sword because his soul has already been claimed. Meanwhile, Henry and Moloch are plotting to raise hell on earth. Back in the dungeon, Katrina continues to interrogate the horseman of death. While Katrina tells the horseman how much she cares for him, Crane walks in and overhears. Their relationship appears more strained than in past episodes. When Crane asks Katrina if she would be willing to kill Henry to end this war, she tells him "there is always another way."

Crane and Jenny go to find Irving, who's left them a clue on a voicemail message. They find him hiding in the tunnels and convince him to help them. Irving is taken to interrogate the horseman once more. They tell him to divulge Moloch's location or be killed. He tells them their location and Crane orders his life spared.

Jenny and Crane (who are becoming quite a team in their own right) go to collect weapons from Nick, who has quite a collection. Nick doesn't believe that the end is near, but it starts raining blood before the episode cuts to commercial.

The team gets their weapons, and they leave Nick to watch over the chained up horseman. Meanwhile, Crane and Katrina have a full blown fight, and Katrina tells him until the war is over their relationship is best to remain "professional."

Meanwhile, in the woods Moloch and Henry are discussing the horseman and the sword. We finally get a full view of Moloch's face - which is terrifying. At the same time, demons are rising from the dead and start attacking "the team." The sword Irving is using doesn't kill him, and he appears to be a master at using it, for he is able to destroy each enemy he encounters. However, Irving is injured in a final encounter with Henry's analog horseman and appears like he isn't going to make it. Irving dies.

Meanwhile, Jenny is tending to an inured Abbie when she learns the news, and she breaks down. Abbie takes the sword and says she is going to kill Moloch. Crane makes a passionate plea for him to carry the sword - but Abbie tells him he must be there to carry the sword when she falls, as must Katrina and Jenny.

Back in the woods, Moloch has ordered Henry to go and risk his life to delay the others. Henry's face tells us he's not fond of the idea. He goes forth, and ties up Abbie. Jenny shoots at him, but he just absorbs the bullet. Then he picks up what he thinks is the sword, but it turns out to be a fake. Crane is holding the real magic sword up to Henry's throat and says their only way out is to kill him. The show then cuts to a commercial, making for a very suspenseful moment.

We return to Crane holding a sword to Henry's throat. If Crane kills Henry, they will both die. Crane asks him to let them pass and allow him to live so they can go kill Moloch and face death. Henry appears to be moved, but then attacks Henry and takes the sword.

Henry takes the entire group and forces them to walk to Moloch. Moloch orders Henry to sacrifice Katrina - and he agrees. Crane yells for Henry to kill him instead. After a passionate speech, in which it appears Henry will kill them all - he stabs Moloch with the magic sword, and Moloch falls.

That's it for Sleepy Hollow, until it returns in the new year! What did you guys think of tonight's episode? Let me know in the comments or on twitter at @alanhenryTO. I thought this was a great way to end the halfway point of the season. I wonder what will happen next - Did Henry become "good" or will he try to concur the world without Moloch? Will Moloch rise again? Will the Crane family dynamic (Katrina, Crane, and Moloch) be mended?

And the big question... Who will be the new main villain for the rest of the season?
