American Repertory Ballet, New Jersey's top ballet company, and Edison Arts Society are proud to co-present a gallery of dance photography at the Edison Town Hall. The gallery will open on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at 6:30pm and will close on Friday, November 20, 2015. Admittance to the gallery is free.

Mayor of Edison Thomas Lankey will be present at the gallery opening on September 30 at 6:30pm alongside American Repertory Ballet (ARB) Artistic Director Douglas Martin, ARB Executive Director Vanessa Logan, and Edison Arts Society President Gloria Dittman; Christina Samson, co-director of FUNKtion Dance Studio and board member of Edison Arts Society; and Nicole Visceglia Rodgers from Federal Business Center. There will be light snacks and coffee provided by Federal Business Center. On the closing evening of the gallery - Friday, October 9, 2015 - American Repertory Ballet will be presenting A Night of Dance at Union County PAC's Hamilton Stage at 7:30pm.

"The Edison Arts Society is proud to display art galleries at Edison Town Hall, providing a platform for local artists to display their work in a way that is easily accessible to the public," says Edison Arts Society President Gloria Dittman. The display will feature photos of American Repertory Ballet's professional, international dancers and also images of dancers from the Edison area, including dancers from the FUNKtion Dance hip-hop and urban dance groups. The photos of American Repertory Ballet's dancers are by renowned performing arts photographer Richard Termine, known for his work with Sesame Street, The New York Times, Lincoln Center, Cirque du Soleil, and the Jim Henson Foundation.

"You can really see the dynamic nature of the movement and the art through quality dance images," says American Repertory Ballet Artistic Director Douglas Martin. "You can see the stretch and the focus. Richard Termine is really an expert at achieving this."
