brooklynONE Productions Celebrates 10 Years of Performing Arts with Fundraiser Event.

brooklynONE productions (bkONE) presents And Away We Go: A 10 Year Anniversary Fundraiser. Founded in 2006 by Tom Kane and Anthony Marino, brooklynONE has been producing bold, original, experimental and artistic content in Brooklyn and beyond. Focusing on a strong collaboration with playwrights, actors, musicians and filmmakers, brooklynONE productions, Inc. has carved out a unique niche in the world of NYC Performing Arts Companies.

This special fundraiser event sponsored by Investors Bank, plays for one night only on November 12th, is produced and directed by bkONE Founder/Artistic Director Anthony Marino. "This last decade has been one of incredible creativity and artistry." Says Marino. "We are so excited to bring old friends and new friends together for this fundraiser, we've got some incredible performances planned and our cocktail hour is going to be amazing, we are grateful for the support over the years and look forward to what's next."

Production Manager Nicole Ferguson-Rodriguez serves as co- producer of the event. "We've had a lot of fun producing some great events over the years, but putting together our 10 year Anniversary is really something special." Ferguson-Rodriguez noted that she's wanted to produce a large-scale fundraiser for the company for some time, and knows this one is going to be the one she's dreamed of.

brooklynONE productions started in 2006 with a One Act Festival hosted in Bay Ridge Brooklyn. Since then they have continued to host their annual festival, producing playwrights from all over the world. Each year bkONE also produces the Brooklyn Shakespeare Festival in Owls Head Park. Other noted productions include, Waiting for Godot, Evan Storey's The Heavens of Hell, an acclaimed production of Leslye Headland's Bachelorette, film screenings from The Art of Brooklyn Film Festival, The Everyday People Project and more. This fundraiser will celebrate the rich performances the company has produced, the people who have helped up along the way and a taste of things to come!

And Away We Go: A 10 Year Anniversary Fundraiser features, Michael Coluccio, Jeff Samaha, Arlene Keating, Anthony Marino, Dawn Barry Hansen, John Heffernan, Fred Grieco, Anton Koval, Nicole Ferguson-Rodrigez, Adriane Cole, Joseph Appel, John Capo, JP & AnnMarie Brogan, Eileen Monahan, Liz Kash Stroppel, Colleen Martin-O'Donnell, Jackie Samaha, Walter Costello, Christine Colacrai, Samantha Braga, Lynda Browning, Camille Loccisano, Andrew Gerardi and Lauren McElroy. Performance night is November 12th 2016. 6pm Cocktail hour (food/drink by by Tommy Casitli's Ho'brah Taco Joint, Steve Oliver's Pipin's Pub and local favorite Barrows Intense Ginger Liqueur) and 7pm Performance time.
