Toronto Comedy All-Stars presents Toronto's best stand-up comedians in a battle between neighbourhoods every month at Comedy Bar. Each show consists of local comedians, regularly featured on MTV, The Comedy Network, Just for Laughs and more, representing their stomping grounds in Toronto and battling for the right to be called the funniest square-mileage in The Big Smoke.

On December 20, Your Hood's A Joke presents a special battle featuring the best of the best, when it all comes down to EAST verses WEST. The EAST END ALL-STARS featuring comedians, Danish Anwar (Tim Sims Award Finalist), Ryan Dillon (BiteTV Award Winner) and Mark Debonis (Great Canadian Laugh Off Winner) will go head-to-head against the WEST END ALL-STARS represented by Christophe Davidson (Just For Laugh Homegrown Finalist), Michelle Shaughnessy (The Comedy Network, The Women's Network) and Dom Pare (Border City Comedy Competition Winner) as they fight for comedic supremacy. Hosted by deadpan crowd-pleaser Kris Bonaparte (Comedy Lounge Founder), Your Hood's A Joke will finally answer the deep-burning question: which side of Yonge Street is funnier?

Comedian and founder of Toronto Comedy All-Stars, Danish Anwar takes to the stage as a competitor for the Your Hood's A Joke series. Born and raised in Moscow towards the end of the Cold War, Anwar is the only Russian-Born-Indian-Bengali-Canadian-Comic. An accomplished stand-up comedian, Anwar is trilingual and was a finalist in JFL42's Funniest Torontonian Award.

Toronto Comedy All-Stars is dedicated to promoting the Toronto comedy community and providing opportunities for local talent to perform across Ontario. Along with producing year-round Toronto comedy events, Toronto Comedy All-Stars is regularly invited to perform in Ottawa's prestigious National Arts Centre.
