Will Arnett Reveals Plans to Turn the Tables on Jimmy Kimmel in THE LATE LATE SHOW

As comedic actor Will Arnett (ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT, 30 ROCK) is making plans to guest-host THE LATE LATE SHOW, he is already anticipating how he will handle his first guest on the show, Jimmy Kimmel.

"I plan on really turning the tables on Jimmy and asking the hard-hitting questions that people have always wanted to ask him, like, 'How was your day?'" Arnett told EW of the JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE host. "On a quasi-serious tip, I want to get into how he likes hosting a talk show. For real. And I know him well enough to be able to be like, 'First of all, am I doing an okay job? What should I be doing? What are the things I should be thinking about, if anything, or are you on autopilot? And do you even like doing it?'"

Jimmy Kimmel has his own agenda to go along with his guest appearance however. "One of the reasons that Jimmy agreed to do it, and he's going to hold me to it, is I promised him that I'd cry on the show," Arnett says. "So I've got to live up to that. I promise that I'll cry."

Other upcoming guests include John Krasinski and ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT co-star David Cross, and despite his vast television experience, nerves are not below Arnett. "Of course, I'm nervous. I've been a talk-show guest dozens of times, but to go the other way, who freaking knows?... It's something that I always thought about would be interesting and fun, but I'm not insane enough to suppose that I think that I'd be good at it. The guys who do do it on a daily basis like Jimmy are so good at it.'"

Arnett is a Canadian actor and comedian known for his many roles, including George Oscar Bluth II ("G.O.B.") in the FOX series Arrested Development, Devon Banks in the NBC series 30 Rock, Brent Wilts in the IFC series The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret, Chris Brinkley on UP ALL NIGHT and Nathan Miller in the CBS series The Millers. He has appeared in films such as Monster-in-Law, Semi-Pro, Blades of Glory, RV, Hot Rod, Let's Go to Prison, The Brothers Solomon and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Arnett is also a voice actor for commercials, animated films, television cartoons and video games.
