Tony nominee Benj Pasek is one half of the musical theatre composing team Pasek & Paul (alongside Justin Paul). The duo has written A CHRISTMAS STORY, THE MUSICAL, DOGFIGHT, EDGES and JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH. Their songs have also been featured on NBC's SMASH. The pair won the 2007 Jonathan Larson Award, a 2013 Lucille Lortel Award for DOGFIGHT, and were nominated for a 2013 Tony for A CHRISTMAS STORY. Their new musical DEAR EVAN HANSEN will premiere at D.C.'s Arena Stage this summer.
