Trevor Noah's ready to cover the 2016 presidential election on THE DAILY SHOW, just as soon as Jordan Klepper helps him learn all of the candidates. Watch the new promo below!

The Daily Show with Trevor Noah premieres Monday, September 28 at 11 p.m. ET/PT.

Trevor Noah began his career in his native South Africa, where he was the television host of the South AFRICA Comedy Festival as well as two seasons of his own late night talk show, "Tonight with Trevor Noah." In 2012, Noah presented what The Guardian called his "beautifully constructed and performed" one man show, "The Racist," at the Edinburgh Fringe, where it received critical acclaim. In 2012, his remarkable career caught the attention of David Paul Meyer, who based his award-winning documentary film, "You Laugh But It's True," on Noah's life in post-apartheid South Africa. Born in South AFRICA to a Swiss father and South African mother during a time when interracial marriage was still considered illegal, Trevor Noah was, in his own words, "born a crime." Trevor Noah's long and difficult journey to success has since been chronicled in Rolling Stone, Newsweek, The Wall Street Journal, and by CNN and NPR's "Talk of the Nation."

Coming this fall, Trevor Noah takes over for Jon Stewart as host of the Emmy and Peabody-Award winning show, "The Daily Show," following his time as a contributor in 2014.

Noah made television history as the first South African comedian to appear on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and "Late Show with David Letterman." His clout earned him a Showtime comedy special in 2013 called "Trevor Noah: African American," and in 2014, was nominated for MTV AFRICA Music Awards' "Personality of the Year" and was featured on the October issue of GQ South Africa.
