In a new promo video for his upcoming CBS late show, Stephen Colbert weighs in on the recent Supreme Court decision on marriage equality. "If you're a homosexual and living in North Dakota, all your problems are solved," quipped the comic. "Enjoy Dakota pride week."

Best known for his snarky sarcasm, Colbert went on to note, "Wow. History moves fast. It's hard to believe that gay Americans achieved full constitutional personhood just five years after corporations did."

The late night host also addressed the four Justices who voted against the historic ruling, taking aim at Chief Justice Roberts' dissent of the ruling. "So, gay couples, you can expect this card from him at your wedding: 'You guys are perfect for each other, and a cancer on our democracy.'"

"The Late Show With Stephen Colbert" will debut September 8th on CBS.
