Heineken Light, the "Best Tasting Low Calorie Lager" winner at the 2013 World Beer Championships, recently announced the launch of its "Best Tasting Light" campaign featuring three-time Emmy award winner and Tony award winner and host, Neil Patrick Harris. Heineken will partner with Harris to introduce consumers to the reformulated Heineken Light and creatively bring the "Best Tasting Light Beer" award to life.

"We want everyone to try Heineken Light this summer and we think Neil Patrick Harris is the perfect guy to help tell the world that this is the best tasting low calorie lager in a witty and humorous way," said Colin Westcott-Pitt, VP Marketing, HEINEKEN USA.

In the commercial below, due to complicated broadcast regulations, Neil Patrick Harris is not allowed to drink Heineken Light on camera. Offers a confused NPH, "We get a stunt double in here. He drinks the beer, people think it's me - problem solved."

Harris picked up the 2014 Tony Award for his starring role in HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH. The show is Harris' first appearance on Broadway since he starred as The Balladeer/Lee Harvey Oswald in the 2004 Tony-winning revival of Assassins. His other Broadway credits include Proof and Cabaret. He just completed production for the final season of the beloved CBS comedy "How I Met Your Mother" and has been honored with four Emmy Awards: three for his acclaimed hosting of the Tony Awards and another for his guest-starring role on "Glee." His upcoming film projects include Fox's Gone Girl and Disney/Pixar's The Good Dinosaur.
