Single tickets for performances during the Lied Center for Performing Arts' 25th anniversary season are now on sale to the public. Patrons can purchase tickets in person at the Lied Center, 301 N. 12th St. on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln City Campus (11 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday), by phone at 402-472-4747, or online at http://www.liedcenter.org.

In celebration of its 25th season, the Lied Center has booked marquee artists in every performing arts form, including jazz great Wynton Marsalis, world-renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, comedian Paula Poundstone, Broadway's "Anything Goes" and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

"We're anticipating even more sold-out shows than usual for this monumental season," said Bill Stephan, executive director of the Lied Center. "There really is something for everyone at the Lied Center this season. We've booked the biggest names in the industry across all genres at very affordable prices. Patrons can attend over half of the shows this season for under $40."

Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis. Season tickets are also available for purchase allowing patrons to attend at least four different events in the 2014-15 season. Members of the general public will receive a 10 percent discount for season ticket orders including four to seven events. Orders of eight or more events will receive a 20 percent discount.
