The Ridgefield Playhouse and Clark Construction Comedy Series bring a great night of comedy with some of David Letterman's favorite comedians on Saturday, January 29 at 8 p.m. The show features host Shaun Eli with Moody McCarthy, Joe Matarese and Adrienne Iapalucci - all have appeared multiple times on America's iconic late-night TV show as well as Comedy Central and Chelsea Lately.

After appearances on Letterman, Last Comic Standing and Jimmy Kimmel Live, Moody McCarthy is no longer a well-kept secret. (After an appearance on the re-vamped Star Search, he still was.) With sharp, versatile material and an old-school ethic, Moody has performed all over North America and Asia and left them wanting more (as in "Bravo!" not "We were ripped!"). Joe Matarese's completely autobiographical act pokes fun at his subtly dysfunctional Italian family, his own neuroses, life with a five year old, and a baby daughter, and his marriage to a psychologist (his perfect match).

Joe's talent for turning real life struggles into comedic gems quickly landed him appearances on the most sought after TV and radio shows including Chelsea Lately (semi regular), The Late Show with David Letterman (2 appearances), The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Comedy Central Presents (his very own 1/2 hour special), Comedy.TV, AXS TV's Gotham Comedy Live among many others. Born and bred in the Bronx, Adrienne Iapalucci's skewed look on life is reflected in her unique brand of intelligent comedy. Her dark sense of humor is enhanced by her political incorrectness and counteracted by her love of dogs. Comedy fans might recognize Adrienne from her performances as a semifinalist on season 7 of NBC's Last Comic Standing and her recent appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman. Visit Dog and Pony (378 Main Street, Ridgefield) for dinner the night of the show and enjoy a complimentary glass of house wine or draft beer with your entree when you show your ticket!

For tickets ($30), call the box office at 203-438-5795, or visit ridgefieldplayhouse.org. The Ridgefield Playhouse is a non-profit performing arts center located at 80 East Ridge, parallel to Main Street, Ridgefield, CT.
