The PIT Holds First-Ever CLICKFEST This Weekend

The Peoples Improv Theater (The PIT) is proud to announce ClickFest - a Live New Media Comedy Festival today and tomorrow, May 2-3, 2015, The Peoples Improv Theater will host the world's first live digital comedy festival. Over forty groups will come together to mash up comedy's best online and in-person comedy experiences.

Curated by PITtv and The PIT's artistic staff, ClickFest is built to give audiences and superfans a chance to be in a room with their favorite online comedy acts and for the comedians to capitalize on having a live room to heighten their online content. Groups will create new mixed media sketches, host Q and A sessions, record live podcasts, improvise sets based on instagram comments, and every other intermingling you can imagine.

Highlights include Garlic Jackson, the premiere of Josh Ruben's (J + V Films, recent Zoolander runway show, Collegehumor) new podcast with guest Bill Persky (Dick Van Dyke Show, That Girl), The Shorts Show (Funny or Die, Good Morning America), The Roundtable of Gentlemen, and oh so very much more.
