The Bacon Brothers and Comedian Jim Breuer Headline DC 'STANDS FOR THE TROOPS' Tonight

Tonight, March 22, The Bacon Brothers will perform at a fundraiser to benefit Stand For The Troops (SFTT). The show, DC "STANDS FOR THE TROOPS," will help support SFTT's mission to safeguard the physical, mental and emotional well-being of our country's frontline troops - the young heroes who daily put their lives on the line protecting us and our way of life.


The Bacon Brothers with Jenny Pacanowski will share the stage with The Bucky Pizzarelli & Ed Laub Guitar Duo, Buskin & Batteau and Tom Prasada-Rao. Also performing will be SNL comic superstar Jim Breuer sharing his brand of magic.

At the top of the program, General Peter Chiarelli, U.S. Army Vice Chief of Staff (Ret.) will present the Purple Heart to Major Ben Richards U.S. Army (Ret.) for dozens of blasts, suicide car bombers, and exploding IED's underneath vehicles sustained while leading his Stryker Cavalry troop on missions in Iraq.

For 15 years, Stand For The Troops, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, apolitical, educational foundation based in Greenwich, Conn. has dedicated its resources to safeguarding the physical, mental and emotional well-being of America's serving and returning frontline troops.
