Journalists Jesse Green (the theater critic at New York Magazine), Michael Musto (Out, The Advocate, Paper & LogoTV) and Patrick Pacheco (ArtInfo.com and the Los Angeles Times) are back once again with THEATER TALK co-hosts Michael Riedel of the New York Post and producer Susan Haskins for a preview of the Fall 2016 theater season which, due to a heavy number of revivals, Riedel introduces as "Broadway 1991."

The Fall Preview 2016 edition of THEATER TALK premieres in the New York City metropolitan area Friday, October 7 (2016) on PBS station Thirteen/WNET at 1:30 AM (early Saturday morning) and repeats there on Sunday 10/9 at 11:30 AM; it re-airs on CUNY TV* Saturday 10/8 at 8:30 PM, Sunday 10/9 at 12:30 PM, and Monday 10/10 at 7:30 AM, 1:30 PM, and 7:30 PM; and also airs on WLIW/21 on Monday 10/10 at 5:30 PM and on WNYE/25 on Monday 10/10 at 3:30 PM - 9 NYC showings weekly.

In a fast-paced half-hour - amid spirited opinion about newspapers, theater critics, criticism, and the makeup of the current Broadway audience - the panel discusses upcoming Broadway shows including A Bronx Tale; The Cherry Orchard; Come From Away; Dear Evan Hansen; The Encounter; Falsettos; The Front Page; Groundhog Day; Heisenberg; Holiday Inn; In Transit; Les Liaisons Dangereuses; Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812; and Oh, Hello on Broadway.
