The Laguna Playhouse Executive Director Karen Wood and Artistic Director Ann E. Wareham & Dan Aykroyd, Judy Belushi and Musical Director Paul Shaffer are thrilled to present a special engagement of THE OFFICIAL BLUES BROTHERS REVUE, featuring Wayne Catania as Jake and Kieron Lafferty as Elwood.

"Laguna Beach is going to rock out this summer to the soul sounds of the iconic 'Blues Brothers," comments Wood. "Jake and Elwood and an extraordinary band will bring our audiences a hand-clapping, foot-stomping, stand-up-and-cheer, not-to-be-missed good time," adds Wareham.

THE OFFICIAL BLUES BROTHERS REVUE will begin performances on Thursday, August 13 and will run through Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the Laguna Playhouse, 606 Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach.

This live concert show combines the comedy and hits from the original movie and pays homage to Chicago's rich history of blues, gospel and soul music. Hear all of The Blues Brothers classics as Jake, Elwood and the band hit the right balance of humor, music and mayhem. Backed by a powerhouse band, they'll give you a show to remember including their biggest hits "Soul Man," "Rubber Biscuit," Gimme Some Lovin'," and many more! Fun for all ages!

THE OFFICIAL BLUES BROTHERS REVUE will open on Thursday, August 13 and will run through Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the Laguna Playhouse, 606 Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach. Performances are Thursdays - Saturdays at 7:30pm; Saturdays at 2:00pm and Sundays at 1:00pm. There will be additional performances on Sunday, August 16 at 5:30pm, Wednesday, August 26 at 7:30, & Thursday, August 20 and August 27 at 2:00pm.
