THE HUNGRY HUNGRY GAMES to Launch UNAUTHORIZED! Series at The PIT, 7/19

Ryan Mercy and Christopher W. Barnes' THE HUNGRY HUNGRY GAMES is part of UNAUTHORIZED!, an awesome series of parody musicals at The PIT (123 East 24th Street, New York NY), beginning July 19.
After their initial outing, The PIT was so excited by what the creators were doing that they decided, for the first time, to become producers of original musical parodies.
UNAUTHORIZED! creates fully realized, off-broadway caliber musical parodies based on well known movies in about a month (yes, really!). The original book and score is written after an audience vote chooses our next show, and after the initial performances, the show is further work-shopped and put up for a full run at The PIT.
This summer will also see the return of THAT 80'S TIME TRAVEL MOVIE (Back to the Future Parody), STEEL PETUNIAS (Steel Magnolias Parody), and GHOSTBLASTERS (Ghostbusters Parody).
