Summerfest Announces 2014 Grounds Stage Headliners

Summerfest officials are excited to announce over 75 headlining acts that will perform at the 2014 festival. Scheduled performers include New Order, Rise Against, Kip Moore, Ray LaMontagne, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, Nas, Brand New and The Neighbourhood. Today's announcement was launched on 43 Clear Channel Outdoor Digital Billboards across southeastern Wisconsin. It was also premiered nationally via video online at USA Today and can be viewed at Usatoday.com/life and Summerfest.com. News outlets are encouraged to repost and share the link on their websites.

Performance dates, times and stage locations as well as additional headliners will be announced in the coming weeks.

Previously announced Marcus Amphitheater Headliners include Bruno Mars with special guest Aloe Blacc, Lady Gaga, Brad Paisley with special guests Darius Rucker and Joel Crouse, Outkast with special guest Gary Clark Jr., Dave Matthews Band, Zac Brown Band, MÖTLEY CRÜE with special guest Alice Cooper and Fall Out Boy and Paramore with special guest New Politics with more to be announced in the coming weeks.

On Monday, March 24, Journal Broadcast Group launched a new streaming music app called "Radio League," which is filled with free, high quality, locally programmed streaming music stations and available for download at RadioLeague.com. With six unique stations that focus on different genres including Top 40, Country and Adult Alternative, "Radio League" will now also offer, beginning today, its newest channel - Summerfest Radio. Fest-goers can save money with Advanced Sale General Admission tickets and great ticket pass options, most of which can be purchased now at Summerfest.com with no incremental service fees.

  • Advanced Sale discounted offers include a $16 General Admission ticket ($18 value), a $9 Weekday Admission ticket valid Tuesday - Friday, prior to 4:00 pm ($11 value) and a "3 for $42" multi-day pass, valid for one general admission per day on three different days of the festival ($54 value).
  • The "11-Day Power Pass" presented by Pick 'n Save with Coffee-mate and Screamin' Sicilian will be available again this year in limited quantities for only $70 and sold exclusively at 69 Pick 'n Save locations across southeastern Wisconsin from April 15 - June 1 or until supplies last.
  • Back for a second year, fans can enjoy extreme savings on weekdays and parking with ease when they purchase the "Summerfest Weekday Value Pass" for only $20 at Summerfest.com now through June 1.
