Star of 5 TV comedy specials Nick DiPaolo is set to blast into the Cabaret Theatre at Mohegan Sun on July 13th.
When Nick takes the big stage, he goes out with aplomb. Always one to make a scene, Nick DiPaolo is probably one of the most authentic voices of comedy, whether on or off stage. He's referred to as a comic's comic because there are no facades, no act. It's all Nick DiPaolo, all the time. The Winnipeg Press said it best: "Gentle as a starved wolverine and as predictable as a tipsy-hop through a minefield". Nick DiPaolo's honest and acerbic comedy has made him a sought after voice on stage, television and radio for years and earned him two Emmy Nominations for writing. Nick started his illustrious comedy career after appearing on HBO's "Young Comedian Special", where his innovative and no-holds-barred comedic approach stood out from the crowd. Since Nick's humble beginnings, he was a regular on "Tough Crowds with Colin Quinn" and many Comedy Central Roasts, appeared on numerous television and films such as "Louie", "Beer League", "The Sopranos", "The Chris Rock Show" and guest radio appearances on "The Howard Stern Show", "The Opie and Anthony Show", and "The Dennis Miller Show", and was the host of "The Nick DiPaolo Show" and "The Nick and Artie Show". He has since written and performed four of his own standup specials along with four CDs. The most recent standup effort being a one hour Showtime special entitled "Raw Nerve" and has done all the Late Night Talk Show circuit including, Leno, Letterman, Conan, Ferguson and Kimmel.Videos
