Comedian Nick Di Paolo is a rare breed. As a conservative libertarian in a profession dominated by liberals, he has built a successful comedy career while remaining outspoken, politically incorrect and brutally honest. He returns to The Ridgefield Playhouse stage on Saturday, October 8 at 8 p.m. as part of the Bart's Tree Service Comedy Series.

Di Paolo's stand up has been featured in multiple Comedy Central specials and he has appeared in many Comedy Central roasts, including those of Pamela Anderson, Jeff Foxworthy, and Dennis Leary. He is a frequent guest on the Dennis Miller Show, Opie and Anthony, Howard Stern, and the Dan Patrick Show. He also appeared in the FX comedy "Louie." He was twice nominated for an Emmy for his writing on The Chris Rock Show. Presently, he hosts one of the most popular podcasts on iTunes, The Nick Di Paolo podcast. Kicking off the night is Boston-bred and Brooklyn-based comedian Kendra Cunningham. She is a regular on the New York and Boston comedy scene, and also wrote and starred in the award-winning short, LonelyGirl48 - which she turned into a web series that went on to win festivals. Kendra's comedic goal is to get paid to write from her bed where she eats, sleeps and occasionally entertains. Nick Dipaolo is a frequent guest on the Morning Show with Chaz & AJ which can be heard on media sponsor 99.1fm WPLR.

Di Paolo has headlined three half hour stand up specials on Comedy Central and was one of the stars on Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn and a stand out on many Comedy Central Roasts. Not limited to stand-up and writing, he has had guest starring roles on FX's Louie, Inside Amy Schumer, The Sopranos and CK's critically acclaimed Horace and Pete as well as many sitcoms. His strong political opinions and razor wit make him a perfect fit for talk radio. He's a favorite on both Howard Stern and Opie and Anthony. Nick's most recent CD/DVD "Another Senseless Killing" was recorded live and the intimate setting captures the essence of what makes him stand out from other comics. "Another Senseless Killing" is 56 minutes of funny, ferocious, but always clever material. DiPaolo skillfully mines the humor in such light hearted topics as Nooses and Roadside Memorials while also educating you on the finer points of Vaginal Rejuvenation and the Evolution of Pornography.
