Pianist Noah Haidu's playing and composing combine hip rhythms, harmonic sophistication, spontaneity, soul, and swing into a distinct approach that stands out from the crowd of today's young jazz artists.

Recently Noah has played with the Ambrose Akinmusire/Greg Rivkin Group at the Jazz Standard, with Native Soul at Centro-Ecuatoriano-Norteamericano (Guayachil, Ecuador), with the Yaron Elyashiv Quintet at the Silver Springs Jazz Festival (Maryland), and with Ken Fowser and Behn Gillece at Smalls and Chris's Jazz Café in Philadelphia. He has also played on various recording projects including a 2010 record date with the Mauricio de Souza group featuring the legendary Mike Stern. Noah's quintet CD featuring Jeremy Pelt, Jon Irabagon, Willie Jones III and John Davis will be released in 2011.
