Sheffield Theatres Announce Full Casting for Irving Berlin's ANNIE GET YOUR GUN

Sheffield Theatres today announces the cast for its major new revival of Irving Berlin's Annie Get Your Gun. Paul Foster directs Anna-Jane Casey as Annie Oakley and Ben Lewis as Frank Butler, with Nicolas Colicos (Buffalo Bill), Mike Denman (Pawnee Bill), Lauren Hall (Winnie Tate), Matthew Malthouse (Foster Wilson), Timothy Quinlan (Charlie Davenport), Cleve September (Tommy Keeler), Maggie Service (Dolly Tate), Karl Seth (Chief Sitting Bull), and completing the ensemble, Josh Andrews, Ronan Burns, Emma Caffrey, Matthew Croke, Omari Douglas, Rosie Fletcher, Melissa James, Jasmine Kerr, Natasha Mould, Jak Skelly, Leah West and Emma Woods (ensemble and Dance Captain). The production opens on 14 December, with previews from 8 December, and runs until 14 January.

Aimed straight at the heart, Irving Berlin's sensational musical from the Golden Age of Broadway includes such classics as There's No Business Like Show Business, Anything You Can Do and I Got The Sun In The Morning, as well as whip-cracking choreography from Sheffield favourite, Alistair David.

Anna-Jane Casey returns to Sheffield Theatres to play Annie Oakley - she previously appeared in Flowers for Mrs Harris, Company, Sweet Charity and Piaf. Her recent theatre credits include Mack & Mabel (Chichester Festival Theatre and UK tour), Jerry's Girls (St James Theatre), Forbidden Broadway (Menier Chocolate Factory and Vaudeville Theatre), Billy Elliot (Victoria Palace Theatre), Aladdin (Hackney Empire), The Comedy of Errors (Regent's Park Open Air Theatre), Bells are Ringing (Union Theatre) and Spamalot (Playhouse Theatre). Television credits include Family Guy and The Royal; and for film, Beyond the Sea.

Nicolas Colicos plays Buffalo Bill. His theatre credits include I'm Getting My Act Together and Sick Dictators (Jermyn St. Theatre), The Bodyguard and Sunset Boulevard (Adelphi Theatre), Sister Act and Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (The Palladium), The Producers (Theatre Royal Drury Lane), Out Of This World, Just So (Chichester Festival Theatre), Kiss Me Kate (Victoria Palace Theatre), Mamma Mia! (Prince Edward Theatre), Whistle Down the Wind (Aldwych Theatre) and A Streetcar Named Desire (Bristol Old Vic). For television, his credits include Rudeboy, Hot Metal, The New Statesman, The Detectives and Wodehouse on Broadway.

Mike Denman plays Pawnee Bill. His theatre credits include The Bodyguard (UK tour), Matilda (Cambridge Theatre), Santa Claus (Grand Theatre Singapore), Nation (National Theatre), Never Forget (Savoy Theatre), Chicago (Adelphi Theatre and Cambridge Theatre), Kiss Me Kate (UK tour), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Shaftesbury Theatre) and On Your Toes (Royal Festival Hall). For television, his credits include Strictly Dance Fever and All Time Greatest Love Songs.

Lauren Hall plays Winnie Tate. Her theatre credits include Kiss Me Kate (Les Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg), Legally Blonde (Korea), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Kilworth House), Gypsy (Savoy Theatre), Singin' in The Rain (UK tour and Tokyu Theatre Orb Japan), Loserville (Garrick Theatre and West Yorkshire Playhouse), Jersey Boys (Prince Edward Theatre), 42nd Street (Chichester Festival Theatre), High School Musical 2 (UK tour) and The Showgirl Within (Garrick Theatre).

Ben Lewis plays Frank Butler. His UK theatre credits include Love Me Tender (UK tour), Forbidden Broadway (Menier Chocolate Factory and Vaudeville Theatre), Candide (Menier Chocolate Factory), Thérèse Raquin (Finborough Theatre); and his Australian theatre credits include, Love Never Dies, Spamalot, Urinetown, Priscilla Queen of the Desert - The Musical, The Odyssey, Side by Side by Sondheim, A Midsummer Night's Dream, and The Windows Project. For television his credits include McLeod's Daughters; and for film, Love Never Dies.

Matthew Malthouse plays Foster Wilson. Timothy Quinlan plays Charlie Davenport. Maggie Service plays Dolly Tate. For television her credits include Three Girls, Red Dwarf, Quacks, Call the Midwife, Doctor Who and Miranda.

Karl Seth returns to Sheffield Theatres to play Chief Sitting Bill - he previously appeared in Hiawatha. His recent theatre credits include Paradise of the Assassins (Theatre Accord), Bend it like Beckham - The Musical (Phoenix Theatre), East is East (Trafalgar Studios), The Firebird (Polka Children's Theatre) and The Jungle Book (Library Theatre Manchester).
