U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will visit THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT, Thursday, Oct. 1 (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Since taking office, Secretary Kerry led negotiations with Iran that will cut off that country's pathways to a nuclear weapon, presided over the reestablishment of diplomatic relations with Cuba, and worked with international partners to curb the effects of climate change around the world. Currently, he is in New York for the opening of the UN General Assembly and will participate in more than 60 meetings and events over the course of his seven-day trip.

Mr. Kerry will join the previously announced guests actress Claire Danes and Youtube comedian PewDiePie.

THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT, a production of The Late Show Inc., airs weeknights (11:35 PM-12:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Stephen Colbert, Tom Purcell, Meredith Bennett and Jon Stewart are the executive producers.
