Kate Rockwell (Belle) is proud to be The William & Kerry Holekamp Star Performer. Kate is so thrilled to return to The Muny after playing Jane in last year's Tarzan! Check out the video!

She has starred in several Broadway musicals, including Rock of Ages (Sherrie), Bring It On: The Musical (Skylar), Legally Blonde (Margot) and Hair. She has toured with three national tours, and was a finalist on NBC's Grease: You're the One That I Want. On film, she appeared in Sex and the City: The Movie as Young Samantha. The Muny presents Disney's Beauty and the Beast, which is running through August 7, 2015. With music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, and book byLinda Woolverton, this beloved family classic is directed by Matt Lenz, choreographed by Vince Pesce and music directed by Ben Whiteley.

The full cast includes Kate Rockwell (Belle), Nicholas Rodriguez (Beast), Nathaniel Hackmann (Gaston), Rob McClure(Lumiere), Lenny Wolpe (Maurice), Deidre Goodwin(Babette), Marva Hicks (Mrs. Potts), Steve Rosen(Cogsworth),Michael Hartung (Lefou) and Spencer Jones (Chip). The ensemble includes Courtney Arango, Lori Barrett-Pagano,Shawn Bowers, Joyce Chittick, Matthew Davies, Jordan De Leon, Courtney Echols, Ellie Fishman,Emma Gassett,Berklea Going, Austin Glen Jacobs, Madison Johnson, Wonza Johnson, Zachary Daniel Jones,Hannah Kiem, Jacob Lacopo, Drew Nellessen, Kaela O'Connor,Rich Pisarkiewicz, Drew Redington, Heather Jane Rolff, Kay Trinidad, Josh Walden and Sharrod Williams.

Returning to the Muny stage for 10 magical performances, Disney's Beauty and The Beast tells the story of a cursed prince transformed into a hideous beast and the adventurous young woman named Belle whose love could break the curse. Based on the 1991 film, the show has entertained millions worldwide since its Broadway premiere in 1994.

Scenic design is by Robert Mark Morgan, with costume design by Robin L. McGee, lighting design by Nathan W. Scheuer, sound design by John Shivers and Hugh Sweeney, and video design by Matthew Young.
