SAG Award Art Reception to be Held at National Press Club

The Washington DC Screen Actors Guild Awards Reception will be held on January 30, 2016. This black-tie event will feature the live broadcast of the Screen Actors Guild Award Ceremony from Hollywood. Hosted by former CBS News Anchor Beverly Burke and TV show host Ingrid Parris-Hicklin, and screen actor Bruce McBarnette Esq.; this reception will also have on display paintings from local and out of state artists. Art sales from the event will benefit Charlie's Place, a homeless service center near Dupont Circle in Washington, DC.

Members of Sukyo Mahikari will be providing a ten minute demonstrations of a soothing relaxing light energy treatment which originated from Japan. There will also be a prize awarded to the guest who is able to predict the most award winners.

"There are so many outstanding actors under consideration this year. The ceremony will be quite memorable," said Bruce McBarnette Esq., the reception producer. McBarnette, who is also a realtor, is President of Summit Connection LLC, a real estate investment firm that is a sponsor of the event.

The actors and actresses nominated for awards include Bryan Cranston, Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio, Michael Fassbender, Eddie Redmayne, Cate Blanchett, Brie Larson, Helen Mirren, Saoirse Ronan, and Sarah Silverman.

Linda Lowery, Myra Maslowsky, and Penelope Przekop will be the painters displaying and selling their works at the reception. The reception will begin at 6pm and the award ceremony will be from 8pm to 10:30pm.
