Broadway's CONSTELLATIONS star Ruth Wilson, along with AVATAR's Sam Worthington and KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE's Sofia Boutella, have signed on for the upcoming sci-fi film THE TITAN, set to begin shooting in January.

Variety writes that the trio will star under the direction of Lennart Ruff.

THE TITAN features a script by Max Hurwitz and is based on a story by Arash Amel, which follows "a military family that's relocated to take part in a ground-breaking experiment about genetic evolution in space."

Automatik, 42, Ben Pugh and Amel are producing with Leon Clarance and Motion Picture Capital also producing and financing the project.

Wilson, who recently starred opposite Jake Gyllenhaal in CONSTELLATIONS on Broadway and in the West End, has also appeared on the London stage in ANNA CHRISTIE. She will soon be seen on the big screen in HOW TO TALK TO GIRLS AT PARTIES and recently appeared in SAVING MR. BANKS. Among her TV credits are THE AFFAIR and LUTHER.

Best known for his role in AVATAR, Worthington is slated to reprise his part in the franchise's upcoming sequels. Also in the queue are THE SHACK, EVEREST, HUNTER'S PRAYER, HACKSAW RIDGE and DANGER CLOSE.

Boutella is set for STAR TREK BEYOND, TIGER RAID and JET TRASH and was most recently seen in the film KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE.
