Rory Albanese (THE DAILY SHOW WITH Jon Stewart) is performing a one night only show at Flappers Comedy Club Burbank, Thursday, February 23 at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $20 and are available at www.flapperscomedy.com.

Albanese is a national headlining standup comedian and nine-time Emmy award-winning writer and executive producer. After graduating from college, Albanese set out to be a standup comedian, but he heard the echoes of his Italian father's work ethic telling him to get a day job. So in the summer of 1999, he talked his way in to a job as a production assistant at The Daily Show, six months after Jon Stewart took over as host.
As he worked his way up to Executive Producer for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Albanese was also performing standup. He opened for Lewis Black on the 2007 Red, White, and Screwed theater tour, starred in his own Comedy Central Presents (2010) half-hour special, and was featured on John Oliver's New York Comedy Show (2011) on Comedy Central. From 2010 to 2013, he teamed with fellow The Daily Show comedians John Oliver, John Hodgman, Rob Riggle, and Al Madrigal to perform standup gigs across the country, and to Afghanistan for a USO tour entertaining American troops in 2012.

From 2010 to 2013, Albanese joined Jon Stewart as the only two Executive Producers of The Daily Show and in 2015, Rory became Executive Producer, writer and on-air correspondent for Comedy Central's The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore. Now with a full-time focus on standup, Rory is planning to tape his first hour-long special, and he is touring the country nonstop.
