Actor, author and comedian Jim Breuer of Saturday Night Live fame and Half Baked (the "stoner comedy" film) fame is coming to do his family-friendly stand-up at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, June 28, at 8 p.m.

Named one of Comedy Central's 100 Greatest Stand-Ups of All Time, Jim Breuer is one of the most recognizable comedians in the business, known for his charismatic stage antics, and dead-on impressions. With more than 20 years of stand-up comedy experience, Jim Breuer remains one of today's top entertainers winning over audiences with his off-the-wall humor and lovable personality. Special guest is Rich Aronovitch, LA Comedy Awards "Break Out Comic of The Year" nominee and a regular on Friday's with Jim Breuer on Raw Dog Channel 99, XM Sirius Radio.

Bissell House (378 Main St., Ridgefield) is offering a free glass of house wine or draught beer with dinner the night of this show when tickets/stubs are presented. In 2008, Breuer's acclaimed autobiography, I'm Not High:(But I've Got a Lot of Crazy Stories about Life as a Goat Boy, a Dad, and a Spiritual Warrior), was released in paperback. In the memoir, Breuer sheds light on his early struggles, his rise to fame and the many lessons he's learned along an extremely funny, yet personal way. Throughout the years, Breuer has also supported various charities including the Chris Farley Foundation, MusiCares, his local police and fire departments and more.
