Repast Baroque Ensemble will be in concert on Friday, March 17 and Saturday, March 18 - 8:00 PM both days, performing Handel and the Voice, March 17 at McKinney Chapel @ First Unitarian Church, 116 Pierrepont Street, between Clinton St. & Monroe Pl. in Brooklyn Heights and March 18 at Advent Lutheran Church, 2504 Broadway at 93rd St. in Manhattan.

Repast celebrates Handel's lyric gifts with guest baritone Jonathan Woody, along with works by Vivaldi, Purcell, and Telemann. Performers will be Amelia Roosevelt & Theresa Salomon, violins, Stephanie Corwin, bassoon, Katie Rietman, cello, Gabe Shuford, harpsichord and Jonathan Woody, baritone.

Bass-baritone Jonathan Woody is a sought-after performer of early and new music across North America. He is a member of the Grammy-nominated Choir of Trinity Wall Street and has performed in recent seasons with Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra, American Classical Orchestra, New York Baroque Incorporated, Bach Collegium San Diego, Handel & Haydn Society, Nashville Symphony, Pegasus Early Music, TENET, Spire Chamber Ensemble, the CarMel Bach Festival, the Oregon Bach Festival, Opera Lafayette, and Beth Morrison Productions. Jonathan holds degrees from the University of Maryland, College Park and McGill University and currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.

Founded in 2003 in New York City, Repast has performed as part of Miller Theatre's Bach and the Baroque series and at the Getty Center in Los Angeles; Bargemusic; the Miami Bach Society; the Minneapolis Institute of Arts; Peak Performances, and many other venues. Baruch Performing Arts Center presented Repast in an annual three-concert series from 2004-2016. In 2015 Repast added a new concert venue in Brooklyn Heights, and the 2016-17 season marks the beginning of the group's new Manhattan venue at Advent Lutheran Church on the Upper West Side.
