REEFER RENDUM's Don Barnhart Brings Laughter to Laffs Comedy Club in Tucson This Weekend

Laffs Comedy Club in Tucson celebrates the return of Don Barnhart, the award winning comedian and star of Reefer Rendum, a 420 Based Comedy Film, this weekend, March 27-28th, 2015.

Award winning comedian and filmmaker returns to Laffs Comedy Club in Tucson, AZ for a special limited engagement March 27-28th, 2015. Over the last year, comedian Don Barnhart has crossed over into the film market and has really been gaining steam. He is currently filming the documentary Reefer Rendum, a serious yet comedic look at the legalization of Marijuana.

The Cannibis-Based Comedy Documentary: "Reefer Rendum" explores the continuing legalization of marijuana in America with candid and humorous interviews from many points of view within the 420 community. Politicians, Lawmakers, Doctors, and Comedians. Reefer Rendum will feature professional working comedians doing 420 themed material. Barnhart has been shooting segments at the comedy clubs his been performing at during his world tour.

The comedians that appear in the documentary include Last Comic Standing winner Josh Blue, comic legend George Wallace, Raj Sharma and Steve "Mudflap" McGrew. The film also has candid interviews with industry experts including Mason Tvertt from Marijuana Policy Project (mmp.org) and the owners of Colorado Springs Trichome Health Consultants. (thcmed.com)

Barnhart also plays a disgruntled, road weary comedian in the upcoming comedy film, Tribute To Fluffy and stars in the documentary, Finding The Funny, an insight into the comedic process and he's just finished writing the script for the new comedy, Freeloader, which is scheduled to begin shooting in and around Las Vegas in the fall of 2015.

The Las Vegas Review Journal recently named Don Barnhart's comedy show one of their "Best Bets" and last year, he was one of the headliners of the 2014 Laughlin Comedy Festival alongside Larry The Cable Guy, Dana Carvey and Maryellen Hooper.

Barnhart recently returned for the Middle East where he was once again entertaining the troops. Since his first USO tour back in 1992, Barnhart continues to perform and produce comedy shows for the troops around the world bringing both celebrities and the next generation of comedy superstars to the men and women serving in the armed forces.

Don is also the author of Comedy 101, Creating The Life You Desire and is a contributing author on I Killed. He is a graduate of The Second City Conservatory in Los Angeles and is the founder of The Las Vegas Comedy Institute where he teaches, consults and coaches stand up, improv and comedy writing.

Barnhart's stand up show consists of well written topical material and is delivered with an animated flair that keeps audiences of all ages howling with laughter and coming back for more. Audiences say that Barnhart has the wit and insight of George Carlin with the delivery of Jim Carey making him funny on so many levels.

Besides being a regular headliner on the Las Vegas strip, Don Barnhart is a favorite performer for many of the top corporate events around the world including The World President's Organization, AFLAC, AA/NA, DARE and many more. He has been seen on almost every major comedy show and was hand picked for The Ice House's 50th Anniversary All Star TV Special.

In 2007, Don was the Grand Champion in The American Idol Underground Comedy Contest and has been seen on MTV, Star Search, and Evening At The Improv and has been featured on ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC. Barnhart is a Bob and Tom Show favorite and his comedy CD, I'm Not Just Eye Candy can be heard frequently on the comedy channels on XM/Sirius Satellite Radio.
